Each BSides is a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participates in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening.

For our second con (and hopefully you’ve picked it already), we are pushing for a space theme, while keeping similarities to last years ‘Cyber Punk’ and ‘Dystopian’ theme. We are hoping to use this to theme all elements of the event, from the CTF room through to the badge. While we aren’t strangers to organising smaller community-focused events, this will be our first proper grown-up conference. It won’t all be perfect, in fact I would be surprised if any of it is, but we will be busting our ass to make sure everyone that attends gets the most out of it as they possibly can, and that everyone has a blast.
