Emersion’s presence in North America continues to grow with the addition of our newest customer-facing team member, David Mardanlou.
David, working out of Salt Lake City, joins our diverse Emersion North America team in the position of Account Executive, working under our VP of Sales North America Joni Jandal.
David is an expert in software sales with years of experience in leveraging technology solutions to solve problems for clients. In his previous sales and marketing consultant role at Clearlink IT, David developed a formalised sales process with a more outreach-focused approach for finding clients they could provide value to. During his time with this MSP, they were able to grow their revenues by 50% through a mixture of project work, managed services offerings, software and cybersecurity deals.
At Emersion, David’s clients include businesses like his previous employer. Having experienced first-hand the problems, wants and needs of an MSP, David will be able to clearly understand what it is our clients need, and provide them with the right software solution for business and billing automation. He says, “a lot of companies in the space definitely have issues around billing, payments, quoting and trying to automate tasks that take up a great deal of valuable time”. In his new role, David is looking forward to solving these exact problems he previously encountered for new Emersion prospects.
Outside of work, David is a big fan of playing and watching basketball, and generally staying active. He also has a unique interest in personality theory and typology (hello fellow ESTPs!) and understanding why people do things. This is a particular topic he enjoys discussing and learning about.
