Emersion is proud to announce that, this week, Dean Aveyard has joined us as Business Development Manager.
Based in Brisbane, Dean brings to Emersion solid experience in selling high value software solutions, proficiency in change management, and excellent leadership wisdom, all gathered over 20+ years as a business development professional.
Dean was previously working as a Senior Digital Marketing Consultant at ReachLocal Australia & New Zealand, helping to get SMBs in front of customers in the places they surf, search and socialise online. Dean also has experience as a Regional Sales Manager for the APAC region at MSP cybersecurity and compliance software provider RapidFire Tools, where he led the AU/NZ sales team, drove new sales through channel alliances in the region, and built long term relationships with his highly satisfied customers.
Taking his signature consultative approach to sales, Dean strongly believes that ‘people buy from people they like, and people they trust’. He takes pride in meeting the needs of his clients, and generally helping people. To Dean, selling is all about building relationships and maintaining ongoing trust.
Dean has volunteered many times for Wesley Mission Queensland, helping to provide food relief and support for hundreds of people in the state he has lived in for 15 years. He also enjoys spending time with his family, bushwalking and going to the beautiful beaches of his local area.
